To celebrate the FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI on Sunday, June 2, the parish of St. Vincent de Paul is having a CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION around the church at the 12 noon mass. Parishioners from different cultural groups are going to prepare altars. The monstrance is going to be processed and is going stop at each altar to bless the country and the people the altar represents. 12 Cultural groups from the parish are represented. Parishioners are preparing an altar for Poland, India, Italy, Ireland, Philippines, Vietnam, Scotland, Lebanon, Nigeria, China, and France. The Spanish/Hispanic community representing Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Cuba is going to have one altar. After the 12 noon mass and procession, each cultural group is serving food typical of their country at the Family Life Center. Food from Italy, Poland, India, Italy, Ireland, Philippines, Vietnam, Scotland, Lebanon, Nigeria, China, France, and Mexico are going to treat parishioners and visitors to celebrate this important feast.
