The Art of the Abused is a special exhibition featuring 84 original pieces of artwork created by survivors of child sexual abuse. These individuals found their voice and a sense of healing through the art therapy programs offered at the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center. This immersive experience spans several decades and serves as a testament to the transformative power of artistic expression in the face of trauma.
The exhibition will take place at Union Station in Washington, D.C., from Monday, April 29th, until Saturday, May 4th. Hours of operation will be 9am - 7pm.
Union Station address: 50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002
