6:30 pm : The Stan Project- Directed by Ryan Walsh

Stan Zuray, star of Discovery Channel’s Yukon Men, decided to leave Boston to escape a life of crime and drug abuse. He found his way to the remote interior of Alaska. This documentary follows Stan through his day-to-day activities, showcasing a beautiful yet brutal relationship with nature and how that gave him control of his life. Along the way, we learn the important lesson that pursuing what gives you purpose and meaning is the path to happiness. Yet Stan is not a solitary figure. He gives back to the community reaching out to the Alaskan youths to give them an alternative to drugs and wasting their lives.
Stan Zuray and director Ryan Walsh are scheduled to attend.

Set during the pandemic, Jenna Rossi struggles to maintain her sanity and equilibrium after her closest friend dies from an overdose. Her sister, best friend and husband surround her while she waits for the friend’s ashes to spread and are worried about her erratic behavior. Jenna must confront her ethics, morality and purpose.

Brian and Randi, a couple from the conservative town of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, go on an extraordinary journey to help Randi feel complete after her battle with breast cancer and subsequent mastectomy. Through Brian’s innovative and unorthodox solutions, the couple launches a project that grows from a labor of love into an unintended calling with the power to change thousands of lives through the sale of custom and handmade prosthetic nipples for their clients.

9:00 pm : The Beasts - Directed by Cheryl Allison

Expatriate French couple (Denis Ménochet and Marina Foïs) operate an organic farm in the Spanish countryside. However, their earnest enthusiasm reeks of patronizing privilege to the handful of “hill people” families who have toiled on the land for generations. Tensions between locals and foreigners boil over in this edge-of-your-seat thriller.

Getting Stable - Directed by Vanessa Leonard

Amanda Held, a veteran and lifelong equestrian, felt compelled to help her fellow American military veterans to heal from the psychological impacts of armed combat and tours of duty. Leaning on her lifelong experience and love of horses, she formed Healing of Veterans through Equine-Assisted Service, commonly known as H.O.O.V.E.S. Their mission is to use rescue horses to heal and empower veterans through training exercises of the horses.

This hilarious, heartfelt documentary will surprise you at every turn.

While vacationing by the Baltic Sea, writer Leon and photographer Felix are surprised by the presence of Nadja, a mysterious young woman staying as a guest at Felix’s family’s holiday home. Nadja distracts Leon from finishing his latest novel and with brutal honesty, forces him to confront his caustic temperament and self-absorption. As Nadja and Leon grow closer, an encroaching forest fire threatens the group and tensions escalate when a handsome lifeguard and Leon’s tight-lipped book editor also arrive. Winner, Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival.
