55th Annual Applejack Parade

1 p.m.

Enjoy the area's best All-American parade, complete with a marching band competition, floats, and more! **NOTE: All entries in the parade will turn right (south) onto 6th Street and travel to 1st Corso. Bands will continue on 6th Street and wait for the Awards Ceremony between 1st Corso and 4th Corso. All other parade entries will turn right again (west) onto 1st Corso and exit and parade route.

Water Barrel Fights

3:30 p.m. (ish - after the parade)

An AppleJack favorite! Get a team together: four people per team - $50 entry fee for adults / $40 team fee for youth ages 10-15. Proceeds benefit the NC Museum of Firefighting. Or, make plans to stick around after the parade and watch!

Best Cornhole Tournament of the AppleJack Festival

Be a part of the Best Cornhole Tournament of the AppleJack Festival! Dinty Moore's is raising money for the NCHS Girls Softball Team with a cornhole tournament. The competition is hot so get practicing! Registration is at 12 noon. The fun starts at 1 p.m. Join the competition or just watch and enjoy a cold one and a shredded beef sandwich.
