Delaware Deaf Senior Citizens (DDSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that represents the growing number of Deaf citizens in the Delaware area.  Their mission is to enhance the well-being of Deaf and hard of hearing senior citizens, improve communication access, and increase awareness about the Deaf community and American Sign Language.

Delaware Deaf Fest 2023 will be a day-long festival to celebrate Deaf culture and American Sign Language (ASL).  Proceeds from the event will support Deaf and hard of hearing students in Delaware schools.  There will be food trucks, activities for families and children, Deaf culture videos and performances, American Sign Language classes, raffle baskets, a bake sale, and presentations.  There will be vendors, and Deaf-owned business vendors will be highlighted.  It will be a day to raise awareness about the Deaf community and interact with Deaf people and Deaf businesses and organizations.  The festival coincides with the International Week of Deaf People, which is celebrated worldwide.
