Festivals of Aloha, Maui Nui Style honors and celebrates the pageantry, parades, street parties, concerts and family activities that span the islands of Maui Nui, including special festivities in Hana.

September 3, 2022:

Festivals of Aloha Banyan Tree Ho‘olaule‘a - Kick off our celebration of aloha at Keawaiki, under the Lahaina Banyan Tree with Exhibits, Free Keiki Activities, Local Eats, Maui Made Artists, Hawaiian Music and Hula. Entertainment by: Reiko Fukino, Cody Pueo Pata, Kaniala Masoe, 2022 Carmen Hulu Lindsey Falsetto Champion Lahela Park, Halau Keala Kahinano O Puna and Kason Gomes

September 9 and 10, 2022:

Ku Mai Ka Hula Competition at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, celebrating it's 15th Anniversary. Maui's only adult hula competition, features award-winning halau competing in solo and group performances. Kane (Male) and Wahine (female) dancers from halau in Hawai'i, Japan, and the Continental US, compete in both kahiko (traditional) and ‘auana (modern) hula stylings. Tickets at mauiarts.org

September 16, 2022:

4pm - 8pm: Aloha Friday at QKC

It's Aloha Friday! Come down to Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center and enjoy Hawaiian cultural exhibits, free keiki activities, Hawaiian music and hula.

September 24, 2022:

20th Richard Ho'opi'i Leo Ki'eki'e Falsetto Contest at the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Doors open at 5:30pm. Admission is $20. Dinner bento available for purchase. Get your tickets at Eventbrite Here!

Festivals of Aloha Lana'i:

October 1, 2022:

Festival Parade begins at 10am; Ho'olaule'a to follow from 11am - 5pm. Make a reservation with Expeditions Lana'i Ferry and join us for the day with entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and 'ono (delicious) eats. Winners will be announced for lei, aloha attire and keiki art contests.
