Services for Junior Bousman

It is with heavy hearts that GCBC announces the death of Junior Bousman.  

Junior died Saturday morning (October 8) after suffering a stroke.

Please keep Lou and the entire Bousman family in prayer and close at heart.

Prayer Vigil - Saturday, October 15th

With the upcoming mission trip to Puerto Rico, let's pray for that country as they recover from Hurricane Fiona.

Also, we can pray for the 10 member GCBC team that is headed there on October 22nd. Closer to home, pray for our upcoming Quarterly Business meeting, our Trunk or Treat event and our 1st 5th Sunday SS Social.  Finally, there are always plenty of folks on the GCBC Prayer List.

During months with a fifth Sunday (starting October 30th) we will have a combined Sunday School gathering in the MAC during the 11 o'clock hour. All classes and ages are invited to attend. These "lightly organized" gatherings will serve as a fellowship time for our GCBC folks to get to know each other better.

- A six week short course will be offered during the Sunday School hour beginning September 18th. The topic will be Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, with the discussion to be led by Chris White. Youth and adults are all welcome to attend (especially teachers who need a break!!). The meeting room will be announced by the first Sunday of September.

During GCBC children and youth activities on Sunday afternoons a small group time for parents will be held. Details are still being worked out, but all parents of children and youth are welcome to participate.

Special Notice:

The date for the Rita's Cabin event has moved to Sunday October 23, so those who would like to attend the service for Junior Bousman are able to do so. Meet in the MAC parking lot at 12:30pm.
