Las Vegas Review-Journal: “Brown did not directly answer any of the Review-Journal’s questions” about whether the 2020 presidential election was stolen or if the January 6 insurrection violated the peaceful transfer of power

MAGA extremist Sam Brown is continuing in his support for far-right election conspiracy theories, refusing to answer basic questions from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, like:

  • Do you believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen?
  • Do you believe former President Donald Trump violated the peaceful transfer of power following the 2020 election?

Though he’s refusing to answer questions now, Brown has actively spread the extremist election conspiracy theories that fueled the deadly January 6 insurrection, downplayed the violent events of January 6, and even supported MAGA extremist efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Nevada even after January 6. Sam Brown has said the violent rioters who attacked our nation’s Capitol, which led to the deaths of five law enforcement officers, were just showing a “patriotic expression” of their “love of country.”

For weeks now, Brown has been on a far-right media tour, telling Fox News that he is “extremely conservative” in further desperate attempts to pander to former president Donald Trump and the MAGA far-right.

Nevada State Democratic Party Spokesperson Katharine Kurz

“Sam Brown is so desperate to prove his loyalty to Donald Trump and the far-right that he’s once again refusing to denounce debunked and dangerous conspiracy theories about the last election being stolen that led to the deadly January 6 insurrection. Brown is a MAGA extremist who will always put Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda ahead of protecting our democracy and doing what’s best for Nevadans.”
