Shawnee is excited to offer a new youth leadership program for local high school students beginning this fall!

This interactive program will introduce students to city services, structure, and functions. Each monthly program will focus on a different department or city service.

Meeting monthly, students will establish relationships with city employees, exposing students to career opportunities in the public sector. In addition, participants will lead a group community service project. We will meet the second Wednesday of each month, September - April at 6:30 p.m. This program will conclude with a banquet on Tuesday, April 26th, 2023 at Shawnee Town Hall at 6:30pm. We are accepting applications for the 2022-2023 program.
