Shot/Chaser: Mike Rogers Owns a $1.7 Million Florida Mansion and a 'Demolished' House in Michigan that He Has Never Lived in

Government and Politics

May 2, 2024

LANSING — After abandoning the state nearly a decade ago, Mike Rogers moved back to Michigan in July 2023 and bought a modest house in White Lake Township ahead of his Senate campaign launch. Rogers’ campaign claimed that Rogers didn’t live in the house because it is “pending renovations,” despite the real estate listing showing the house was “completely remodeled… just prior to its sale.”

Fast forward to May 2024, the house “has been demolished” and still has “never [been] lived in” by Rogers. There were “no workers or active construction visible at the time,” and Rogers’ campaign refuses to provide a timeline of when Rogers will move into the house that is under major construction.
