Join us at Snowball Fest for an icy adventure that’s cooler than cool! From January 8 through February 18, get moving, get creative and explore a fascinating world of wintry science discoveries through guided and self-guided activities.

Practice your aim with our snowball slingshots
Create winter-themed masterpieces using a variety of materials
Learn about the science of snow and ice with fun and interactive experiments
Explore the adaptations of winter animals and see how they survive in the cold
Stay warm while enjoying fun winter activities like ice bowling, ice block building and more.

The beloved Freezemeister is back! Jack Frost takes the winter season by storm with a fun-filled family variety show: Jack Frost’s Frozen Follies! With a blizzard of frosty, fun-filled family entertainment, Jack will merrily warm the hearts of all ages with music, magic and comedy! Witness icy illusions, juggling snowballs and snowmen impersonations; sing along with wintry favorites and watch the children delight in Jack Frost's famous game of "Freeze!"

Bubbles bigger than a car? That’s right. Prepare to be amazed by OMG Bubbles! This interactive performance features bubbles huge and small, as well as incredible bubble tricks that you’ll have to see to believe, including: a bubble volcano, a bubble railroad, a smoke bubble tornado, an impossible cubic bubble and much more.

Lighting the Way: A Stepping Stones Puppet Performance

Follow Stepping Stones Storytellers Bird, Lucy, Lillie and BooZoo on an unforgettable adventure as they travel far north to experience the breathtaking aurora borealis! Guided by a compass (and their collective wit), the Storytellers will climb treacherous mountains, work together to weather the Freezing temperatures and even encounter the legendary abominable snowman.

Pengwee’s Breath: A Stepping Stones Puppet Performance
Friday - Sunday, February 16-18, 2024
11:00 am and 2:00 pm
Based on the children’s book by author Debbie Nutley, this tender-hearted story provides a valuable example for children learning to cope with anxiety. Follow Pengwee, a young penguin, as he prepares for an exciting day at the annual Ice Festival. When Pengwee begins to feel like there are snowstorms in his tummy thinking about the “big scary rides”, a special lesson from his mother teaches him that his own breath gives him the power to calm his fears.
