Southern Flute Festival is celebrating 11 years!

Southern Flute Festival’s eleventh edition features two wonderful guest artists! For this special edition we are featuring Kelly Sulick and Simone Mauer!  Activities are geared to all levels of flute playing from middle school through graduate level as well as to amateurs and flute enthusiasts. Come and enjoy a full day of wonderful master classes, lectures, recitals, and friendship!

Schedule of Events:

8:30 – 9:00 am: Registration and Vendors set up – Reception Foyer
9:00 – 10:00 am: Festival Flute Choir Rehearsal with Fabiana Dahmer – FEC 101
10:00 – 11:00 am: Optimal and Peak Performance Psychology for the Stage with Simone Mauer – FEC 101
11:00 – 12:00 pm: The Voice of the Flutist: improve tone and projection with Danilo Mezzadri – FEC 101

4:00 – 5:00 pm: Festival Flute Choir Dress Rehearsal with Fabiana Dahmer – FEC 101

5:00 – 5:50 pm: Try out flutes and Q&A with Callie Brewer – Rotunda
6:00 pm: Final Recital featuring our Guest Artists and Festival Flute Choir – Fleming Auditorium
