Kent welcomed Old Boys Mel Evans, Francisco Arismendy and Steve Verity to the Museum this past month.

Francisco, Old Boy 2014, and his new bride, Brianna, who was married last week, came to the Museum as it was the first stop on their honeymoon trip to Colorado.  Francisco proudly showed his wife around, and relived his many stories!

Mel Evans, Old Boy 1968 - 1970, as a 7th and 8th grader, visited the museum with his wife on Sept. 20.  Mel still lives in Omaha, NE.  He sent a note afterwards, " In any case, keep up the wonderful and positive work you are doing.  I am sure it is appreciated by many."

Steve Verity, Old Boy 1969,  and family visited the Museum on Sept. 26th.  He now lives in Ozark, AR and hopes to reconnect with former classmates

2023 Reunion Weekend is being planned.  Stay tune for date announcement!

Please remember in your prayers the family of Cole Rodenbeek, Old Boy. Son of former staff Barb Nitz.

His obituary:
Cole was remembered by family friend, Larry Britegam with the following:  Cole was unfortunately killed last weekend in a car wreck. Cole was a friend of my son Evan and was a good kid, but always lived on the edge and was about as ornery as you can get.  His Great-Grandfather, Nathan Bucher , was a long-time board member at Sunflower Bank and was one of the early partners with Wilson and Co.  Butch was a tremendous individual and highly respected.  Very sad, but Cole lived every minute of his life like it was the last minute of his life.

Donald Hummel, formerly of Michigan passed away July 19, 2021.   While at SJMS he was a member of the Crack Platoon, DeMolay Club Publications Club, Spanish Club and Cheerleader Letter.  He attended 1965 - 1967; his junior and senior year and graduated as a Cadet 2LT.

Please keep Col Jerry Bradley in your prayers, as he was moved to hospice care.  Col. Bradley was the Commandant at SJMS.   He touched many lives. Some of the comments from Old Boys:  Richard Wood:  "I have so much respect for COL Bradlley!  He was not only a role model but always had my best interests in mind. "   Troy Tramba: "When I was at SJMS, CSM Bradllley was the TAC Officer in my barracks both years and was a major part of my life at St. John's.  I looked up to him as much as I've ever looked up to anyone.  This was before he was a Commandant or Colonel.  I regret I never was able to get back in touch with him."  Pat Johnsen:  "CSM Bradley ... what a mountain of a man.  Such a commanding presence.
