Sunflower Festival 2023

Arts and Entertainment

June 24, 2023

From: Sunflower Festival

We want you to enjoy every part of your experience when you visit the Sunflower Festival.  Here a few things to keep in mind when you plan your visit.

The end of July/beginning of August is a hot time of year for New Hampshire.  We have experienced 90 degree weather in the past.  We have also experienced pop up thunderstorms and rain showers.  We encourage you to bring an umbrella if the forecast is calling for a chance of rain. If thunderstorms roll through, the fields will be evacuated until the threat has passed.  Please respect our judgement during field evacuations.  We never want to have to evacuate our fields, but we do so in the interest of your safety.  The rain tends to pass quickly and you can go back to enjoying the field once the threat has passed rainbows often appear!

Most of this event is held out in our open fields in the full sun.  Plan to bring hats, sunscreen, sunglasses and LOTS of WATER.  Our bottle refill stations will not be available this year.  If you do forget your water, there are bottles available for purchase at a reasonable cost from the farm store.

As stated before, this event is held on a farm in our fields.  Be sure to wear the appropriate comfortable footwear.  Heels are not advised.

There is a large tent near the fields with tables & chairs.  There will be local Food Vendors to purchase meals from - more options on the weekends than weekdays.  Live Music is available to enjoy under the tent on weekends only.  You are more than welcome to bring your own food to enjoy during your visit.  We ask that you leave any alcoholic beverages at home.

Remember, we have farm fresh meat for sale from animals raised here on the farm, so don't forget to bring a cooler to bring home some goodies!
