Trenton’s First Italian Immigrant Families

Tom Frascella will return to the Trent House on October 8th to discuss Giovanni Sartori and other Italian immigrants who came to Trenton in the late 1700s and early 1800s and their impact on the culture and historic events of New Jersey and the new nation. This free talk will be given in-person at the Trent House Visitor Center and broadcast simultaneously via Zoom.

Caroline Burton: Way Finding

The New Jersey Artists Series returned on September 23 with the opening of the exhibition “Caroline Burton: Way Finding.” Burton, based in Jersey City, draws on architectural and agricultural forms, nature and elements of chance for inspiration in her process-driven canvases. An exhibition catalog will be available in the Museum Shop in October.

The Trenton Artists Workshop Association (TAWA) is a nonprofit arts organization serving the Trenton, New Jersey, area and beyond. Its 45-year history of organizing exhibits includes such venues as the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie, the New Jersey State Museum, Artworks Trenton, Prince Street Gallery in New York City, and more.
