¡Viva! is a celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture. This free event presented by Felix Construction and Legacy Traditional Schools takes place north of Barrio Queen on September 22nd from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. 

Hispanic Heritage month celebrates the contributions and culture of both Hispanic and Latino Americans from September 15th to October 15th. 

¡Viva! will feature authentic Latin American cuisine, businesses, and a variety of cultural entertainment.

Gilbert is focused on creating a safe and respectful environment where authentic connections thrive, opinions are equally valued, allyship is encouraged, and differences are shared and celebrated.

Activities

Join us from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, September 22nd for musical and cultural performances. Be sure to check our art displays which will feature a human-powered guitar, guitar-shaped slide and lighted photo frame honoring Día de los Muertos! This is a family-friendly event for all ages.

7:30 PM to 8:30 PM | Mariachi Estrella De Cobre

Food and Drinks

Authentic Latin American food and beverages will be available at this event. Guests can expect to find empanadas, elote, horchata, and aguas frescas at our food vendor booths. 

Note: Alcohol and glass containers are strictly prohibited. Vendors will be accepting card and cash payments. No ATMs are available on site. Please plan accordingly.
