Pastor Matthew Norville, Sr. is a graduate of St. Charles High School in St. Charles, Illinois. His wife, Minister Felicia Norville, is a graduate of Unity High School in Chicago, Illinois. Pastor Norville then attended Illinois College, while Minister Norville attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and MacMurray College.

After they were married, the Norvilles moved to Los Angeles where they were members of Crenshaw Christian Center (Pastor Fred Price's church) for 7 years. Pastor and Mrs. Norville graduated from Crenshaw Christian Center School of Ministry (CCCSM) in Los Angeles, California in 1987. They were ordained in May of 1988 by a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who, himself, was ordained by the late Kenneth E. Hagin.

Pastor Norville is a teacher and pastor, while Minister Norville is a teacher of the Word of God. The Norvilles have been married for 25 years and have 4 sons and 5 daughters.
