Boettcher Farm
We grow mostly heirloom varieties with an emphasis on bright colors and flavors of our vegetables. We will be offering work and non-work shares. "Come Grow with us Our free range Blue, Green and Brown chicken eggs will be included with each share. The honey offered will be from bee hives on our property that a local bee keeper will handle. We want you to have a stress reducing, enjoyable experience on our farm while you help us in "your" gardens

We are a family farm that started because we love the country and wanted to grow our own food. It is important to us to grow chemical free, high quality meats and produce to feed our family. This endeavor has evolved into a business mainly by word of mouth. We have grown grass fed lambs and goats. We now grow free range chickens (and eggs), heritage turkeys, and some of the best vegetables around!

This is our third year of growing fish in our greenhouse using AQUAPONICS. This means that we are growing food fish (bluegill) in a 3000 gallon tank and recirculation system in which the fish water flows through vegetable plant grow beds to feed the plants. The water is also purified by the plants as they take up the nutrients and then it is returned back to the fish tank! This gives us two crops at the same time and saves water resources and the environment.
