About Us:

Richard and Jennifer have been dancing and teaching ballroom dance in Denver for more than 30 years As professional competitors from 1986 to 1997, they were finalists in American Smooth and International Standard in every major competition in the United States. Richard and Jennifer's attention to both the creative and technical aspects of dance made them popular with spectators and they became strong role models for their students.

The Booth's have been teaching ballroom dance for more than 30 years. They operated Dance Unlimited in Downtown Denver and in Fort Collins, Colorado. As the popularity of partner dancing grew, so did Dance Unlimited. Unable to split their time between the two cities, the Booth's closed the Fort Collins location and moved the Denver school to new, larger facilities. They also changed the name to Booth's Dancesport Ballroom to tie in with the trend of dance as an Olympic sport. Their Accomplishments include:

Professional Competitors from 1986-1997.

Finalists in every major championship in the U.S., in American Smooth & International Standard.

Both have taught and coached U.S. National Champions.

National Certified Championship Adjudicators.

Richard is President of the Professional Dancer's Federation.

Jennifer is a former President of the U.S. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance.

Jennifer has also been an off-ice consultant to the Olympic Ice Dance Training Camp.

Prior to opening Booth's Dancesport Ballroom on Broadway they operated Dance Unlimited in Denver and Ft. Collins.

The current 6000 square foot facility includes a 2500 square foot dance floor and a second smaller floor.

The Booth's promote ballroom dancing in many ways. They have an annual performance showcase, Dance Derby, and I.S.T.D medal testing for amateurs and professionals.

The Colorado Star Ball, a national dance competition has been organized by the Booth's. The ball has amateur and professional events with cash prizes over $60,000. The Star Ball is held annually each June.
