Canton Lions Club

Welcome! And thanks for visiting our site. In this web presence we briefly describe ourselves and a little about Lionism together with the "We Serve!" community service motto common to Lions clubs everywhere. Our real purpose is to arouse your interest with the ultimate goal of enticing you into becoming an active member of our club.

Lions clubs are neither religious, political nor organized for business purposes. The clubs exist so that members may pool their skills, talents and resources for the betterment of the community. The Canton Lions Club was chartered in 1968. Since that time our members have raised and distributed over $200,000 in charitable grants to nonprofit service agencies.
For the past 10 years we have underwriting the cost of Eye Exams, Eyeglasses and corrective Eye Surgery in excess of $ 1500 a year. We collect over 2000 used eyeglasses and hearing aid. 100% of the Monies Donated by the general public is used to support Lion Activies. We welcome into membership all persons of either sex. Please email our Membership Director for more information.

We meet monthly at 7:00 pm on the 4th Monday at The Cherry Hill School House located at Ridge Road and Cherry Hill. Visitors are always welcome at these open meetings which consist of brief business reports, a featured speaker from a local charity, raffles, and spirited camaraderie. Please call in advance to (734) 495-0590, and then join us. Casual attire is the rule.
