We Believe:

In one eternally existent, infinite God, Sovereign of the universe; that He, as God, is Triune in essential being, revealed as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7)

In the plenary inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, by which we understand the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments to be the inerrant, infallible and providentially preserved oracles of God. "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 1:21-22). "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35).

That man is born in depravity due to the sin of the first man, Adam; that man is inclined to evil and that continually. "There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." (Romans 3:10-11)

That in the infinite mercy of God, prevenient grace is supplied to every member of Adam's race; that by this grace man may turn to God. "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." (Titus 2:11-12)

That the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost. "...This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Rev. 20:14-15)

That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin. "The Lord is not ...willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9). "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2:21)

That, subsequent to regeneration, believers are to be sanctified wholly by the Holy Spirit, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication (wickedness)." (1 Thess. 4:3)

That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers. "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." (Romans 8:16)

That our Lord Jesus Christ will return and the dead will be raised,"...they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (1 John 5:29).
