A brief history of Alma listing many of the milestone events in the City's history. This is a work in progress. We are still doing research on out history. Citizens are encourage to send us addition events or make corrections in the dates of the events included. Dates are often difficult to determine. City records frequently will give a date when something was authorized. It is more difficult to determine went it was actually done.
