Evangel Chapel began in 1951. Since that time we have gone through a lot of changes and growth but our focus and purpose has always remained the same. We are still deeply committed to..."connecting people to the cross". Without embarrassment or apology we will tell you that we love the Lord, believe the Bible, want to please God, and are trying to let the whole world know about His love and mercy. We certainly don't claim to have all the answers but we know the One who does, and He has promised to help us find them.

As part of the Assemblies of God, Evangel Chapel is a church that acknowledges the presence and power of God's Spirit at work in today's world. As such, we believe that miracles are still possible and that God's Spirit still uses people in spiritual gifts. Our worship is lively, our preaching is relevant, our mission is exciting, and our invitation for you to join us is sincere.
