About Us:
The goal of the Parks and Recreation Department is to provide a friendly, clean, and wholesome atmosphere for our residents and visitors to come and participate, to enjoy their recreation time, and hopefully to keep them coming back for years of enjoyment.

The parks in Fairview Heights were created for the use and enjoyment of our city residents and visitors for company picnics, family and class reunions, birthday parties, or any special event that our facilities can accommodate. Residents of Fairview Heights take naturally to the array of sports, recreation, and activity programs offered year-round by the Parks and Recreation Department.

All programs utilize city parks and other facilities in the community to give a variety of activities to interest people of all ages.
