About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all the people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again some day to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. It is the responsibility of every Christian to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those whom God brings us into contact with, to practice personal sharing about Him, and to invite friends to church.

About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make all people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when he is saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily. We believe the only way possible to live the Christian life is by God's power within us; therefore, we seek to practice a daily dependence on God's Spirit to enable us to do what is right.

About the Bible

The Bible is God's written Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error. We accept the Bible as the basis for all we believe,as it is infallible, inerrant, and the final authority on all matters.

About Human Beings

People are made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an innate disposition of disobedience toward God called "sin". Sin separates people from God, requiring redemption in Christ for salvation.

About Salvation

Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. No one can remove their guilt of sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. Anyone who turns from a self-ruled life to Jesus in faith, is saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

About Eternal Security

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. The believer who has been genuinely saved, can never be lost. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. The grace of God, and God's commitment to the promises in His Word give believers eternal security.

About Eternity

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

About the Priesthood of Every Believer

The Bible teaches that every believer is called to "full time" Christian service, regardless of his or her vocation. We practice the truth that every believer is a minister by encouraging every member to find a place of service and ministry. Every believer has direct access to God through prayer and Bible reading to know God's will, and find God's place of service.

About Baptism By Immersion

We practice baptism by immersion under water - the way Jesus was baptized, and the way the Bible commands.

About Pastoral Authority

The Bible teaches that God gives the Pastor and Ministerial Staff special knowledge to know God's direction for the church, and to implement the strategies necessary for the successful accomplishment of the mission and purpose of the church. The Pastor and Staff are held accountable by Godly leaders of the church to remain in the center of God's will for the church. Each church member is encouraged to lovingly follow Scriptural authority and submit to God's leadership through the leaders of the church.

About Life

We believe that God's Law protects life from conception until natural death.

About Sexuality

We believe that God created only two genders - male and female. We believe that God's Word requires chastity for unmarried people and faithful monogamy between a married man and woman.

About Creation

We believe that the triune God created the universe apart from pre-existing materials. We believe in the historicity of the entire Bible, including the first eleven chapters of Genesis.
