Future Fruit Farm
We've had a nice response from many areas so far, so we will be having pick-up sites locally (at our farm), in Madison at both the Dane County Farmers' Market and Hilldale Area on Saturdays, in Milwaukee at the three Outpost Natural Food Coops on Friday afternoon and evenings, and a pick-up site in Mt. Horeb on Thursday afternoon is also available. We're currently organizing pick-up sites for the Chicago and surrounding areas, and areas surrounding Milwaukee. So, contact us and if we have enough interest, we will arrange a pick-up site convenient for you. To become a member of our 2010 Organic Fruit CSA, contact us by phone for more detailed information and a Member sign-up Form. Members will receive a delicious sampling of all we have to offer for the year. We grow many varieties of unusual Pears, and unique Apples. Members also receive a farm Newsletter in each box with farm stories, recipes, storage tips, and descriptions of varieties. Our Organic Home Recipe Fruit Butters are included in fruit boxes 1 - 3 times for the season.

Our certified organic family farm is located on the beautiful ridges overlooking the Wisconsin River Valley. Here, we have chosen to specialize in and grow old-time, antique, and exotic varieties of fruit. The unusual and delicious apples and pears that we produce are harder to grow, but we feel, far superior to more common types of fruit. The rich flavor and perfume of our fruit is often lacking in more commercially grown fruit. We practice certified organic methods of agriculture to grow our fruit. Each tree is given special attention. Each piece of fruit is handled gently and hand-sorted. We value quality over quantity. The taste of our Future Fruit is sought after. For over twenty-nine years, our Future Fruit Farm Family--Bob, Ellen, and Selena Lane--have been testing varieties of apples, pears, and plums, attempting to perfect organic fruit growing methods and meet the challenges of climatic pressures.
