Global Legends Youth Foundation
Elbert "Tree" Gordon attended the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  He was named Sporting News All-American First
Team, Most Valuable Player of the W.S.U.C. (Wisconsin State University Conference), voted Most Valuable Player of the NCAA
Division 3 Conference, and winner of the 1989 NCAA Division 3 National Men's Basketball Association; he was voted First
Team All-American and made First Team All-Conference.  While attending Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas Elbert
"Tree" Gordon also made Sporting News First Team All-American.  He was again voted Most Valuable Player, First Team All-
Conference, First Team All-Defense, and one of the most exciting players to watch.  Elbert "Tree" Gordon also qualified for the
Men's Invitational Junior College Track & Field with a recorded high jump of 6' 11 ¼ ".

During the season 1990 - 1999, he was a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, and played with the most popular and well-
like professional team in the world. Former Harlem Globetrotter, Elbert Tree Gordon, has traveled over 100 countries
entertaining crowds, and sharing a positive attitude and embracing diversity.  He has visited with Pope John Paul, II, South
African President, Nelson Mandela, and Mother Theresa.  In all, Elbert "Tree" Gordon has played close to 2,000 basketball
games in his career.  He is a true ambassador of good will.

Elbert "Tree" Gordon at present continues to travel around the country as a Global Legend, aiding his former teammates
with basketball camps, celebrity basketball games, corporate appearances, festivals, sports history programs, clinics, benefit
games, corporate events, fundraisers and exhibition basketball games.  This phenomenal group of players continuously gives
back to their communities and upholds the utmost support and respect for one another.

Elbert "Tree" Gordon has established a youth organization called Global Legends Youth Foundation in order to help
individuals and communities realize their full potential.  The mission of the Global Legends Youth Foundation is to provide
activities that are fun, educational, and provide a model for healthy living. This youth foundation is committed to helping
communities provide positive and educational activities for youth.  As a multifaceted and highly motivated professional, Elbert
Tree Gordon brings solid experience, determination and love for youth.  He is committed to making a lasting difference from
state to state and community to community.
