The Hays VFW Ladies Auxiliary is part of the local VFW Post 9076 and under the National Ladies Auxiliary.  The members of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars live by the motto, "Honor the dead by helping the living." We set out to serve the veterans of this country and our communities as a testament to the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who has served in uniform.

The Hays VFW Ladies Auxiliary have two major craft fairs each year.  The Spring Craft fair held then end of March or first part of April and the Pre-Holiday Home Based Business Fair held in October.  Both are traditionally held on a Saturday, but contact the VFW Post in Hays, Kansas for specific dates and times.

Home based businesses exhibit a wide variety of decorative items, clothing, arts and crafts, jewelry, fall decor, Halloween crafts, holiday merchandise, Christmas products, seasonal items, wood, leather, ceramics, small quilts, Christmas gift ideas, clocks, bath products and kitchen items. Other items include: herbs & spices, smelly jellies, wind chimes, beaded purses, baby quilts, potholders, Barbie doll beds and accessories, natural products and low-carb/healthy coffees The Auxiliary ladies serve traditional German foods, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, dessert, coffee and tea.
