Heather's Heritage Hens

4022 South 3rd West

Heather's Heritage Hens grew out of a graduate project researching cold-hardy, heritage breeds of laying hens good for Montana backyards. She has a growing flock of 160 Light Brahmas, Buff Orpingtons, Dominiques, Silver-Laced Wyandottes, Australorps, Barnevelders, and Ameraucanas.

The flock supplies about 30 families with seasonal egg shares, with room for more each year. Beginning in late spring of 2011, Heather will also have limited amounts of hatching eggs, baby chicks and pullets (immature hens) available for pick-up or delivery. If you are interested, please contact her to make your reservations in advance.

Heather is also available for backyard bird consultations.

A punch card of the size of your choosing which allows you to pick up eggs during either of the Farm Stand hours, at your convenience and need. The most flexible egg share ever!
