Kansas Equality Coalition of Northwest Kansas (KEC) is a non-profit group of fair-minded people who are determined to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

The Northwest chapter, based out of Hays, covers 22 counties in Northwest Kansas and includes gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered individuals, as well as their straight allies.

Members of KEC participate in social and political events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities in order to assist in the betterment of our state and local communities.

The Kansas Equality Coalition seeks to ensure the dignity, safety and legal equality of all Kansans.
