The Madison Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesses and individuals committed to promoting the advancement of our members, our community and the economic development in the Greater Madison Area. As members of a growing community, we understand how important it is to embrace success, yet always look in to the future.

The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1930. Then Mayor C.P. Rognes invited leaders from the business community, local community organizations and churches to an open discussion on how each could do their part to help promote progress for the town of Madison. Mayor Rognes especially wanted to utilize the income brought into the community by the construction of a new highway through their community to promote other such projects that would in turn improve the local businesses and community.

The Chamber works year round in numerous ways to strengthen the Madison areas prosperity and livability. A strong local economy requires a healthy business climate, a productive workforce, adequate infrastructure, and a motivated public and private sector. The Chamber serves as a catalyst, advocate, and partner in helping the Madison Area reach the economic development needed to insure a healthy future.

In today's changing economy, the Madison Chamber of Commerce provides many valuable resources and benefits to help Grow Your Business. Join the growing group of businesses in the Madison Area who are reaping the benefits of their participation in Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.
