About Us

Located on beautiful Lake Opeechee, in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region, Memorial Middle School has a student population of approximately 600 students in grades 6, 7 and 8, with about 200 students in each grade level. Each grade consists of two teams; each team having 4 academic teachers: Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Each grade level is also assigned a guidance counselor; we loop guidance counselors between 6th and 7th grade.

Students at each grade level also participate in a variety of Unified Arts Programs, including: Art, Computer, Health, Integrated Arts, Music, Family & Consumer Science, and Physical Education. Foreign language classes (French and Spanish) are available to 7th and 8th graders. An Introduction to World Languages is now part of the 6th grade curriculum.

English As a Second Language classes are also provided to support our diverse student population.

Many after-school programs are offered throughout the year, including a homework club, a cooking club, yoga classes, Math-A-Lon, a chess club, babysitting classes and more!
