Milton Fire Rescue operates as a call/paid department. Personnel includes approximately 33 call firefighters 10 EMS call volunteers and 1 full-time EMT/Firefighter. The department covers just under 1000 calls combined each year. Providing fire suppression and emergency medical services to the town of Milton and Milton Mills the Dept is led by Chief John “Andy” Lucier and Asst. Chief Robert Bourdeau. Central Station is located on White Mountian HWY. in Milton. This station houses 2 Engines, 1 Tanker, Ambulance, Rescue, Ladder, Forestry, OHRV rescue unit, and boat 1. Station 2 is located in Milton Mills on Jug Hill Rd. This station houses one Engine and one forestry truck. Milton Fire Rescue is also an active member of the Ossipee Valley Mutial Aid Association.
