The Milton Historical Society began in the early 1970's with an enthusiastic and committed group of participants. The early years were a time a great accomplishment: the museum was acquired, exhibits put in place, and many enjoyable community-oriented events were held. Over time the MHS became less active, and the museum deteriorated. Today the MHS is experiencing renewed energy, and looks forward to developing a small local museum that reflects current best practices and approaches.
