The Munfordville Lion's Club has been in existence since September 1, 1939. Through the years, it has helped with numerous projects that have benefited the citizens of Hart County. The Lion's Club is most noted for its service to the blind and visually impaired. Since 1939, they have helped hundreds of needy people in this area to buy glasses or to pay for eye operations.
