Founded in 1976, the New Baltimore Historical Society continuously strives to meet the following objectives:
to preserve all historical aspects of the Anchor Bay area for future generations;
to maintain the Grand Pacific House Museum, originally built in 1881 for use as a hotel;
to offer a selection of workshops for children and adults;
to hold monthly meetings which include programs of a historical nature. The monthly meeting also provides an opportunity for members to share information, research, and to socialize with others with similar interests.
