On September 20, 1992, Rev. Cecil Grant, a beloved minister, came out of retirement to organize New Harvest Church of God, and minister to its congregation. The church first met in the home of Glenn and Brenda Patterson. Later, the church rented the Standard Building as its place of worship. On November 29, 1992, New Harvest Church of God was officially recognized by, and organized into, the Church of God ministries. Through the loving and compassionate ministry of Pastor Grant, the Lord richly blessed the congregation, and they grew from a modest storefront to the magnificent fellowship they are today.
