Parkway elementary school

142 Ramblewood Parkway
856-235-3364

The Parkway School is home to 375 students in Grades K-4, and 65 staff members, each day. This year, our school was designated as a National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. Parkway was one of only four schools in New Jersey, and the sole school in South Jersey, to win the nation’s highest honor this year.

Throughout the school year, our teachers attend seminars, workshops, and university course work on a variety of topics aimed at providing the best possible practices in our classrooms.

Parkway children are involved with others in many ways. They write to pen pals across town, provide food, decorations, letters of encouragement, and funds to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Camden, and serve as “bus buddies” with younger children to get them safely on the bus. Our Student Council members seek to resolve issues and take a leadership role in school activities. The coveted Presidential Fitness Award is earned by approximately one-fourth of the student body.

The school sign and the red rug in the lobby witness the belief that Every Child is a Promise. Our quality plan for continuous and never-ending improvement includes all members of the Parkway Team in a quest for excellence.
