The Reeds Road School in Galloway Township, NJ, is “home” to approximately 650 children in grades one through six. Our first through sixth graders take great pride in their school. From saying the school’s philosophy every day to working together, the Reeds Road students believe learning is more than just information; it’s learning how to get along with one another; it’s knowing you are safe and cared for in every way; it’s learning from the example of adults who enjoy working with children; it’s learning about smiles and laughter.

Our school’s academic programs are first rate! We offer a hands on approach to science which allows our student’s to experience science and not just hear about it. Math in grades four, five and six is supplemented by students working with a computerized math program known as CCC (Computer Curriculum Corporation). Each of our fourth, fifth and sixth grade classrooms has five computers and a printer to enhance instruction in all of the content areas. Our students are word processing, utilizing CDRoms and navigating the Internet. Our Communication Arts Program opens the door to the world of literature through a sequential learning process which integrates reading, language, spelling and writing.

The arts are an important component to learning at our school. Our band and choral programs are well received by the community. Each year they are highlighted in our Holiday and Spring Concerts. Many of our students’ talents are recognized as they are selected for All South jersey Band and Chorus Honors.
