In memory of a special friend and co-worker, Not Farr From a Cure was founded by friends and co-workers in 2009.  Linda Farr, a Cumberland woman whose life was claimed by a form of Blue Cell Carcinoma at age 53, was a kind and generous person who always put the needs of her employees above herself and was always the first to support them in all their endeavors.  Linda's courageous fight against cancer and her positive attitude during her ordeal has inspired us to do what we can to help find a cure for this horrible disease that affects over 1.4 million Americans each year.
