Vision:

The study of science is a key component of the Nevada Educational Content Standards and Clark County School District (CCSD) curriculum at every grade level. Students who participate in meaningful laboratory activities assimilate the inquisitive spirit of science. With this tenant in mind, the laboratory is a vital environment for the experience of science.

Reynaldo Martinez Elementary School proposes to create an aviation hangar to serve as an aviation studies center for CCSD students. This hangar will provide an optimal setting for motivating students in all subjects, while they experience science. It will also serve as a field trip destination for schools in the district. Additionally, the center will prepare all students for the aviation magnet offered at Rancho High School and creating an awareness of the importance of aviation in their lives.
