Studio Players is a non-profit theatre company located in Montclair, New Jersey. Since 1937, the volunteers of Studio Players have been providing their community with high quality entertainment at an affordable price. Each season delivers a variety of shows ranging from hit plays to original works to musicals and children's plays.

With a strong commitment to family entertainment, Studio Players is proud to devote half of each season to our popular Magic Trunk series. Year after year, these children's shows have been very popular with young and old alike. Many families have even taken the opportunity to make a Magic Trunk show the scene for a child's birthday party.

For adult audiences, there is no shortage of comedy, suspense and music at Studio Players. Our Main Stage shows boast impressive talent and production values, and are frequently nominated for regional community theatre awards.

If you'd like to get involved with Studio Players, you'll find no shortage of opportunities. Those wishing to perform on stage may attend auditions for any of our productions. There are also many behind-the-scenes roles such as lights and sound, set construction, scenic design, costumes, make-up, box office, hospitality and more. The theatre is open to everyone and offers a fun, family atmosphere.
