Founded by Dr. Walter Nallin in 1954, the Waldwick Band is one of North Jersey's most active musical ensembles.  The band performs both  summer and winter concert series in Waldwick.  Concerts are also played at other locations in Bergen and Passaic Counties.  Membership is open to qualified performers ranging from high school students to retirees.  The band rehearses on Thursday evenings at the Cupola in Paramus.  A smaller band called the Teutonic Knights performing traditional German band music and a parade unit are part of the band.  Edmund A. Moderacki is the current conductor and music director.  The full name of the band is The Community Band of Waldwick, Inc.
