· Student Achievement - supported by the involvement of Warren Point as a PDS. Differentiated instruction, balance literacy, inclusion strategies are embedded into the public school and university curriculum.

· Professional Development - Warren Point faculty have the opportunity to participate in summer workshops, teacher study groups, and action research projects such as those funded by the Geraldine Dodge Foundation. Three Dodge Grants have been awarded to Warren Point over the past several years. The topics for inquiry included Celebrating Diversity, Differentiated Instruction, and The Inclusive Classroom. These professional experiences foster the mission of a community of learners dedicated to the pursuit of life-long learning.

· Preparation of Student Interns - has involved collaboration with the university and public school staffs to develop and refine procedures and programs for quality teachers and their induction into the field. Clustering of student interns at Warren Point to form a cohort has permitted university courses for student interns to be held on-site at Warren Point , instead of at the university. This has allowed the student interns to remain in the school environment which enhances their professional experiences.

· School-based Inquiry - has encouraged searching for pertinent questions and answers which directly influences student learning in the public school and university. This gives all involved an opportunity to be continually reflective about the ongoing work to ensure growth and improvement.
